It is a pleasure to write this letter of appreciation to Kingfisher Aftercare Centre, that is ran by Teacher Marian, I have known her for 3 years both as a teacher and now close friend. I was first introduced to her and the school 3 years ago when my son Boikanyo Ntsele joined the Aftercare. Since Boikanyo joined the Aftercare Boikanyo's grades have improved in all his subjects with Afrikaans being the most improved. The love that the school has shown Boikanyo has really made want and decide to enroll my grandson in to the Pre-school Marian and the school is venturing to open or will be opening next year....
Aside from her dedication to her work, she is also very kind and warm towards all the students. She has an admirable compassion for children, something that I personally think should be a natural character towards her work...

Kingfisher aftercare, what can one say. Three years ago we found this aftercare as we desperately needed to find a suitable aftercare for our daughter. We took into considertion of how my daughter will be treated what assistance she receives and so on. From the first day we walked into the aftercare she loved them and we as parents love them, they are very acomodating, assisting far from what is expected from them and loving. This group of theachers goes far more beyond the limits to make sure the kids are loved, well thought and that they are happy. What I admire most about this school / aftercare is that they teach the kids games that we grew up with no electronics at all.
From a school perspective during lockdown my child has started to lose focus on her school work and it affected her report, and the teachers at Kinfisher saw this and they are attending to the matter. If I could recommend an aftercare for any parents child it would defentaly be Kingfisher aftercare, the care the love the attention they give to the kids is absolutely amazing. My child is always happy and excited to go to aftercare.

I have seen my Grandchildren grow under the supervision of Mariaan, the Principle ad her team, not forgetting her hubby Andre.
My grandson (an introvert) has opened up completely with the staff, loving, caring nature. His work ethic as a Grade RR has sored into unbelievable hights.

My name is Charelle Thomas.I am a single mother of four little girls. Three of which attend kingfisher aftercare. Being alone with all the girls is a huge responsibility, the aftercare has made my life so extremely manageable. Kingfisher aftercare is really a home. The kids are always happy and well taken care of. Homework and reading is always done. Teachers go the extra mile in assisting the kids. When the girls struggle in a particulararea they have helped to bring them up to date. Teachers are loving, friendly helpful mothers. They have fun activities and the girls enjoy playing and having fun. Holiday programs are the highlight to do fun activities, dress up and so much more. Kingfisher aftercare has given me such confidence to see how happy my girls are when I leave and pick them up. When your kids are happy you are happy.This is truly one of the best aftercare programs. Dear Teacher Mariaan, I can focus on my job as I know that my child is in safe hands. Not only is her homework completed but she also studied with her teacher. There are time's, I'm late but I know Teacher Mariaan will wait for me. This aftercare operates in a very professional manner. The "happy" environment leaves me with a sound mind.
